Carolyn Rasmus of the College of Physical Education was appointed Assistant to the President in June 1979. She served in this capacity for Presidents Oaks and Holland until May 1984. As Assistant to the President, Dr. Rasmus chaired the committee which oversaw all University committees. Much of the President's correspondence, was addressed by Dr. Rasmus.
